Diana Morales Avin is the Firm’s Senior Paralegal since September 2017. Previously, she was the Firm’s Immigration Services Coordinator for close to five years before taking a brief hiatus as Director of Immigration Legal Services with SIREN. Prior to joining our office, Diana worked with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County for ten years as a Board of Immigration Appeals Representative, successfully representing individuals in all manner of family-based immigration cases before USCIS and EOIR. Diana has more than 15 years of experience in the immigration field. Prior to her work in the immigration field, Diana assisted domestic violence victims before the family courts in obtaining protective orders with Legal Aid Society of Santa Clara County.

Diana is a graduate of Santa Clara University (B.A. History with an emphasis in Latin America) and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College (J.D.) in Portland, Oregon.

As an immigrant brought to the United States as a child, Diana can relate to the struggles and uncertainties many immigrants face.
